Matt's Mountain Skills

This 2 day course based in the Lake District is designed for those who are wanting to venture out of their normal walking areas and into the bigger mountains of the Lake District, Wales or Scotland but might not have the skills & confidence to do so. This course will cover the necessary skills to be confident in the higher mountains. As an idea of some of the skills that will be included are navigation & planning, movement over different types of terrain, weather, kit choice, hill safety and emergency procedures.
